Jute Sand Bags UAE
Jute sand bags are hessian sacks filled with sand or soil to build temporary barriers. They are used for flood protection, construction, landscaping and erosion control. Because jute is a natural fibre, unfilled and untreated jute sandbags biodegrade over time, which suits temporary and landscaping applications.
Record rainfall in the UAE in April 2024 reminded many facilities, communities and contractors of the value of having sandbags on hand. Beyond flood defence, sandbags are used daily on construction sites to weigh down barriers and signage, and in landscaping to stabilise slopes.
Key Features
- Natural hessian fabric with good grip when stacked
- Breathable weave that drains water
- Tie strings for secure closing
- Biodegradable over time when untreated
Common Uses
Flood defence at doorways, basements and car parks, construction site ballast, landscaping and slope stabilisation, erosion control, and military and security barriers.
Jute vs PP Sandbags
Jute sandbags are natural and suited to shorter-term or landscaping use. For long-term outdoor use under strong sun, UV-stabilised PP woven sandbags last longer. See PP Woven Bags.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How many sandbags do I need for flood protection?
It depends on the length and height of the barrier. As a guide, a doorway usually needs several layers of bags. Tell us the area you need to protect for an estimate.
Are jute sandbags better than plastic sandbags?
Jute is natural and biodegradable, making it better for temporary and landscaping use. PP sandbags are more durable for long-term outdoor use.
Do you supply filled sandbags?
No. Our jute sandbags are supplied empty, ready to be filled on site.

Which Printing Method Is Right for You?
Tell us your material, artwork and quantity. As a guide: choose screen printing for simple logos on fabric, flexo for large paper or woven runs, rotogravure for photographic BOPP packaging, DTF or digital for full-colour short runs, sublimation for all-over polyester designs and embroidery for a premium, long-lasting finish.
Turn Your Bags Into Brand Advertising
A printed bag is carried through malls, offices, streets and homes long after the sale. Every reuse is another impression for your brand at no extra media cost — making branded bags one of the most cost-effective forms of advertising for UAE businesses.
Artwork Guidelines
Supply vector files (AI, PDF, EPS or SVG) with Pantone references for the most accurate colour. For photographic prints, supply high-resolution images at print size. We share a digital proof for approval before production.
