Overview
What it is
BOPP lamination bonds a biaxially-oriented polypropylene film to a woven or non-woven base. The result is a hard, wipeable surface with excellent clarity and moisture resistance, and it carries full-colour photographic print better than any other option in the range. This is the usual specification when the bag itself is the marketing piece.
Not suited to
The laminated construction mixes material layers, which makes recycling materially harder. Where recyclability is the priority, specify unlaminated non-woven or kraft.
